Set up right-click and tap-to-click on the trackpad
There is no second button, but there is a right click — and you can stop physically pressing the trackpad down.

The trackpad has no visible second button, which is the first thing that throws people coming from Windows. It does have a right click. Everything is in System Settings → Trackpad → Point & Click.
Secondary click. Set it to Click with Two Fingers and resting two fingers while you click opens the context menu. You can also assign it to a corner if you prefer that.
Tap to click. Off by default, so every click means physically pressing the trackpad down until it clicks. Turn it on and a light tap is enough. It is quieter and much less tiring over a day.
Tracking speed. The default is conservative. Nudging it up a couple of notches means crossing the screen without lifting your hand.
The other two tabs, Scroll & Zoom and More Gestures, show a short video for every gesture as you hover over it. Worth five minutes: swiping between desktops and opening Mission Control with three fingers replace a lot of clicking.
